Dear Young Explorer | Jordyn Hawkins-Rippie
Dear Young Explorer,
The world as we know it has been upended in an unprecedented way. Remember to remain steadfast to your aspirations of traveling to lands far away and allowing wanderlust to consume the innermost part of your heart’s desire — for a dream deferred is still a dream, but one that has not yet been realized.
The gifts with which you have been endowed can help you engage multifaceted individuals in such a way that builds trust and camaraderie among wide-ranging and varied spectrums. These gifts are needed now more than ever. Your generation will be called to face the issues of today and you will be able to step forth confidently. Allow that for which you were destined to manifest itself in all of its glory and splendor to uplift and inspire the total of humanity and advance its causes.
Your travels will expand your cultural horizons in ways unforeseen and allow you to grasp humanity and piece together the seemingly complex narrative of the tapestry of the human experience. Your genuine, enthusiastic willingness to engage authentically will help others realize the varying degrees of diversity present within all. You can help ensure that every facet of mutual understanding is actualized to secure the hope for a more prosperous and secure future for all global citizens.
Our world is becoming increasingly more interdependent. The leaders of tomorrow will be called to collaborate across a wide spectrum of identities to create sustainable change across all societies. We need to celebrate humanity with unconditional love and selfless service, which will empower even more faith in the collective and common good of all.
You must help others to reaffirm our commonalities by seeking to build spaces where we do not simply exist due to our circumstances. We need spaces where we exist and thrive off of the infectious spirit of generosity and goodwill — all of which make each and every one of us better for doing so. When we can collectively understand others and thrive off their goodwill and generosity in a positive way, the change that can occur is astounding and can move mountains. Never stop fighting the good fight, for your future and that of many others who depend on it.
Sincerely,
Jordyn
